Lievland is one of Stellenbosch’s most historically important farms and the property in its current form dates back to 1934.The farm is located in a favourable position on the north-western slope of the Simonsberg Mountain; and its sheltered position, with cooler than-average conditions for Stellenbosch, are ideal for high-quality wine production. Made in an elegant and modern style, this Pinotage shows vibrant notes of cherries and raspberries, with a hint of cedar and vanilla from the oak ageing. The palate has rich red fruit and the savouriness typical of the variety.
