Clos Roareti is a plot of vines surrounded by ancient walls on the family’s property bought in 1810; its deep, clay soil is ideally suited to Merlot. Produced in the best vintages, matures for over a year in small oak barrels and a year in bottle. This intense ruby coloured wine is packed full of plums and cherries, with aromatic notes of herbs, juniper and spices. A wine to savour.
