Made from the most important grape variety in the production of Amarone, Castelforte Corvina gives you a little bit of everything you can expect from its more illustrious relation but for a fraction of the price. Corvina grapes are hand-harvested and following fermentation receive a gentle ageing in used oak barrels. The wine is bright and fresh with red cherry and bramble notes backed up by hints of spice and liquorice. Enjoy on its own, with red meats or a beef casserole.
