Coates & Seely is a premium English sparkling wine producer based in Hampshire, founded by Nicholas Coates and Christian Seely. Combining traditional-method winemaking with the character of Hampshire’s chalk soils, the producer is known for elegant, refined sparkling wines.
The Brut Reserve NV is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, aged on its lees for around 2½–3 years.
Pale gold in colour, with fine, persistent bubbles. Fresh aromas of crisp green apple, lemon curd and honeydew melon lead to hints of toasted brioche and biscuit. The palate is dry and beautifully balanced, combining bright citrus acidity with generous orchard fruit, a creamy texture and a clean, mineral finish.
