The Willett Distillery was founded by Thompson Willett in 1936 on the family farm in Bardstown, Kentucky. With its debut in 2008 the Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon is beautifully presented in the signature pot still shaped bottle and fashioned using the original still blueprints. Nose is “vanilla lemon cake.” The palate is a balance of caramel, vanilla, spices and citrus. I’m not sure if they made the opulent bottle to match the Whiskey or vice versa.tasting notes courtesy of: Bill Thomas, Jack Rose Dining Saloon.
