Viña Echeverría is a family-run estate winery, owned and managed by the Echeverría family. Established in 1930, but with an agricultural heritage going back to the 1700s, Viña Echeverría is as much today, as always, driven by a shared passion for winemaking and an uncompromising search for excellence.
The fruit comes from a combination of vineyards located in the Valle de Maule and the Valle de Colchagua. Both the Valle de Maule and Valle de Colchagua benefit from Mediterranean climates, with cold and rainy winters that contrast with hot and dry summers. The lack of rainfall continues throughout the growth period, which forces the vines to send their roots deeper into the soil, in search of water and nutrients, resulting in complexity in the wine.
Enticing aromas of forest fruits, cherry, raspberry and mulberry are laced with vanilla and tobacco nuances through to a rounded palate with a fine tannin structure and a persistent fruity finish.
