One of the best-loved names (and most distinctive labels) in wine, Ridge has achieved the rare distinction of iconic status not just domestically, in the US, but around the world wherever fine wine is consumed. This is thanks to the thoughtful and consistent application of simple principles; carefully chosen, mature vineyards farmed with great care minimum intervention winemaking; production decisions guided by continual blind tasting.

The Cabernet grapes come from select parcels, planted from the 1960s onwards on the Monte Bello estate, which consistently produce more forward wines. The soils are a mix of unique green stone and clay layered over decomposing limestone. Much of the Monte Bello estate is certified organic, with sustainable practices.

A deep nose of black cherries, plums and sweet oak draws you in to multi-layered palate, combining bramble fruits and vanilla with black tea notes alongside plush, finely-grained tannins.
