Aliestre ONE Tinto

Nestled in the beautiful Alentejo region of Portugal, Aliestre Vineyards is passionate about creating wines that bring people together. Inspired by the region’s warm sunshine, beautiful landscapes and rich winemaking traditions, Aliestre produces a range of Portuguese wines full of character, flavour and charm.

The ONE collection represents a more distinctive expression of Aliestre, combining the character of the Alentejo with added complexity and structure. ONE Tinto brings together Portuguese and international grape varieties to create a red wine with Mediterranean warmth, concentrated fruit and a satisfying, persistent finish. The 2022 bottling has been described as a blend of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon and Aragonez.

Aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries and wild berries mingle with hints of Mediterranean herbs and warming spice. The palate is generous and structured, with concentrated dark-fruit flavours, well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Great with grilled rib-eye steak, slow-roasted lamb, beef short ribs, game dishes or mature hard cheeses.
