Niederösterreich is the region around the capital Vienna and is Austria’s largest wine-growing area. This grape variety is a crossing between Blaufrankisch and St.Laurent.
Deep ruby red, dark cherry already on the nose, full and juicy on the palate; round, dark cherry fruit, some spice tones and smooth tannins, compact, round body. A beautifully flexible food wine that can be paired with a medium rare steak or chilled and served with seared tuna.
