Te Awanga Estate is a family owned wine business. It was born out of a love of making wine and out of Hawke’s Bay. In 2006 they began searching out great vineyard sites that would eventually supply the grapes to make the great wines of the future.
This Hawke’s Bay Pinot Gris has wonderful notes of lychee, waxy florals and white flesh peach on the nose. A complex palate with a steely undertone and lots of fresh pip fruit and florals. A fresh acidity carries the flavours for a long spicy finish that suits drinking chilled on its own or served alongside pretty much anything.
