Roger and Christine Saumaize, together with their son, Vivien, own the finest estate of Vergisson in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. A rare, north-facing vineyard just across the valley from the Saumaizes’ house. This is a cooler site and the grapes ripen more slowly and retain good acidity. Rich and aromatic, this has great finesse and precision with fine vitality on the finish.
