The Chasselas grape is the white grape of Switzerland. The wine is very pale lemon in appearance and has a delicate nose of apple skins with a hint of citrus. Despite the delicacy on the nose, the palate provides far more. This is a quite fruity wine with the apple coming through much more strongly. There are some very nice minerals, a lovely stoniness and a long finish.
