“Cardinal Richard” is the name given by Sauvion to its Cuvee Prestige, in honour of the man who owned the Chateau du Cleray during the last century. Its come from an exclusive selection of Muscadet produced from the Melon de Bourgone, which aims to highlight the work of the growers since 1981. Balance, freshness and complexity are characteristics of this wine. Very expressive with yellow fruits (apricot, peach). The wine is very fresh but also has a nice volume from the sur lie aging.
