Edicion Limitada is 100% Tempranillo from Ramon Bilbao’s highest altitude vineyards in Rioja Alta, situated at over 700 metres above sea level. The vines are typically over 40 years old and only the best grape clusters are selected for this wine.
Elegant, exotic Rioja, the nose a spicebox of black pepper, cloves and cumin, with savoury notes of cocoa and tobacco and a mouthful of juicy dark cherries.
It is the perfect wine to slow braised lamb shanks, Spanish style stew with beans, chorizo and morcilla and hard sheeps’ cheeses such as Manchego.
