We are delighted to present the sixth edition of our King Street Gin ‘The Spring Wood Edition’. Each a unique recipe with its own story and connection to Whalley. A limited edition Gin, produced by Brindle Distillery exclusively for The Whalley Wine Shop. Available in store & online.

The ‘Spring Wood’ edition features the delicate pink flowers of the Himalayan Balsam plant foraged from within the beautiful Spring Wood.

Originally ornamental, Himalayan Balsam has spread abundantly and is classed as an invasive species that now threatens river banks and native British plants. The ‘Friends of Spring Wood’ volunteer to remove the plant from Spring Wood to prevent its spread.

We used the flowers to colour and flavour our sixth edition of the King Street Gin our Spring Wood Pink Balsam edition. Perfect when mixed with Fever Tree Tonic and a slice of pink Grapefruit.
With only 150 bottles produced, it is a unique, limited edition gin that will never be reproduced. Great to share a real Lancashire Gin with friends and family and a great gift to send out to those who have moved away.
