Do you know any local ‘Covid Heroes’?

During the challenging Covid-19 siuation there are hidden ‘Covid Heroes’ going the extra mile within our community. We want to celebrate those people doing the right thing and helping make lockdown easier and better for other people!

Do you know any local heroes- people who are working tirelessly to keep vulnerable people safe, reassured and connected? Perhaps running errands, going shopping or just taking time to connect with isolated people. They’re everywhere, staying strong and keeping the people around them going.

We’ve teamed up with The Wine Merchant Magazine and Hatch Mansfield to give six local heroes a well deserved pair of wines- a bottle of white and red on us!

Your local hero can be anyone who you think deserves a thank you for the amazing work they are doing in this current climate. They could be frontline NHS workers who are doing an amazing job and keeping us safe, key workers who have been doing an outstanding job or maybe someone who is running errands for people in your community and comforting those in need.

Thank that amazing person and nominate them by telling us why they’re your hero. To enter email your nomination to rachel@thewhalleywineshop.com and let us know why they’re your local hero. Winners will receive one bottle of Vidal Sauvignon Blanc and one bottle of Wild Ferment Pinot Noir.

We’ll be celebrating and rewarding six local heroes. A winner will be announced every Tuesday and Thursday for the next 3 weeks, the first winner will be announced Tuesday 2nd of June! Winners will be announced on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so make sure you’re following us on social media to find your local hero*.
