The best Rose we have found this year. A superb food matching wine for Christmas Day with delicate red fruit, nectarine and a beautiful chalky texture.

Under £15 – Selladore en Provence Rose – Provence, France
Previously known as Chase Rose this is classic Provence Rose with delicate berry fruit and a clean and dry mineral finish.

Under £10 – Cantina di Negrar Garganega – Italy
A medium bodied, soft and fruity white, with notes of white peach, gently floral with a hint of almonds on the finish. Perfect for Pinot Grigio fans.

Under £20 – Joseph Drouhin Vaudon Chablis – Burgundy, France
A benchmark style of Chablis with a very dry, crisp style and lovely ‘mineral’ or flinty notes. Great gift or an elegant way to start Christmas dinner.

A Spanish grape now grown in New Zealand. A real star find for our team this year. Classic Albarino notes of zesty lime and tropical fruits and with a racy fresh acidity.

Under £10 – Ams Tram Gram L’Epicurius – France
This southern French Malbec blend has been a huge shop favourite. Lots of soft, ripe, dark fruit. Medium to full bodied, juicy and inky with ultra smooth tannins.

Under £20 – San Marzano 62 Anniversario Primitivo – Italy
One of our best selling premium red wines. A rich and opulent red bursting with dark fruit, sweet spice and hints of smooth chocolate. Dense, rich, smooth and delicious.

Under £15 – KWV The Mentors Petit Verdot – South Africa
A superb wine from Stellenbosch in South Africa. Rich and dark with intense brooding fruit of black cherry, cassis, hints of cocoa, black olive and violet. Full bodied and meaty wine.
