This is a great example of a young and quaffable style of Primitivo from the South of Italy. Due to the warmer climate this red is bursting with flavours of ripe blackcurrant, cherry with a leafy hint. Medium bodied on the palate with soft tannins and a sweet spice finish. There are also notes of vanilla from 6 months of ageing in oak barrels. This is a brand new arrival to the shop and we also stock the Origini Nero d’avola and Grillo which are definitely worth a try! Pair with BBQ Lamb, vegetable curry or spicy pasta dishes.
