100% Ugni Blanc. Harvested in 2017, it’s aged in French oak cask for a minimum of 12 months. Cognac (at 71%) is added to the fortified wine, before fermentation, to pause the further development into Cognac.
On the nose, this Pineau is intense, fresh and elegant with notes of fresh fruits, apricot, On the palate we are met with citrus notes, acacia honey, dried apricot. prune, quince and acacia honey, resulting in acidity and sweetness. Serve chilled, and enjoy neat pre or post-dinner.
