Akashi is from the White Oak distillery based near Kobe, Japan. Matured for 2 years in sherry casks. The palate is rounded and subtle with vanilla and creamy notes, while the finish is sweet revealing vanilla and woody hints. This is a lightly peated Japanese whisky.
