A flavoursome wine made from the Castelão grape, which is happiest in hot climates and dry, sandy soils. It performs best in the Setubal Peninsula south of Lisbon where Pegoes is home to! If you like Barbera, ripe Cabernet Franc or Tempranillo then this wine is for you. Soft on the palate with vibrant notes of fresh, juicy red fruits and spicy nuances. Round, smooth and well balanced with a pleasant, fruity finish. Enjoy with mushroom risotto or grilled chicken thighs.
