On Thursday 11th April The Whalley Wine Shop is pleased to be hosting a tasting of Mackmyra Whiskies and other spirits at The Aspinall Arms. Presenting the tasting will be Mackmyra expert Alex Johnson. Mackmyra is Sweden’s leading Whisky producer with an award-winning range of Whiskies. Their spirits are created with Swedish ingredients, a climate-smart distillation technique, and the world’s purest water filtered to perfection since the Ice Age, in one of the world’s most modern distilleries. Alex represents Mackmyra in the UK and it is somewhat of a coup to bring him up to Whalley for this exclusive tasting. There are only 30 places available at the tasting, which includes 8 whiskies to taste, nibble boards, and a complimentary dram from the bar.
