An Orange wine is a white wine made with the wine in contact with the grape skins. This ‘skin contact’ imparts the amber orange hue and often results in a more complex, aromatic wine, with tannins, texture, and weight.
Made from Cataratto, a native Sicilian grape that lends itself to Orange wine production. Fragrant aromas, a lovely golden hue and flavours of dried apricot, honey and soft spice. Fantastic step up from the basic styles.
